1 – Opt for a paint that enhances light.
Have you ever thought about how the colors in your painting interact with light? To answer this question, thanks to its LVR index, or light reflectance index. A wonderful tip simplifies your decision:
The LVR index, also known to interior design experts, measures the percentage of light that a paint color absorbs or reflects. The LRV scale ranges from 0% to 100%. Black, absorbing all light and heat, scores 0%, while white, reflecting all light and heat, scores 100%.
This index plays a key role in determining the overall look of a space based on a specific color. Put it to the test! You will find the LVR index on the back of each color sample from the Essential Whites and Designers' Inspiration collections. During your next visit to the store, look for this clue before making your choice for a paint that enhances the brightness of your space.
3 – Integrate light garlands
Light garlands are not exclusively intended for outdoors! They can add a decorative touch to the child's bedroom, boudoir or any space dedicated to relaxation. To create a soft and warm atmosphere, diversify the light sources with night lights and light garlands.
